Having to start somewhere
in an infinite
process it's not
the process
that starts
but
just its
perception
by a witness
who can see only
with great difficulty
and by inference
that the process
continues
whether
or
not she
perceives while
some others would
prefer not to no-
tice that it not only
predated them but
will go on long
after they
are gone
be-
lieving
that when they
turn off the T
V nothing is on
and that if a tree falls
but they invest too
much in measure
thinking that
what is
known
is more
than what lacks
a knower as
if the latter is
less extent but it's worth
remembering not
only that the
ongoing
goes on
with
out the
witness but
that the witness
goes on with its own
process unmeasured in
the absence of an
other and that
the witness
must be
a
finite
process which
finds itself in
the position of
